Thanks for staying with us, here is a reminder of important information. Look for the big white gate to know you have arrived, 570 Seminole Pass. Our gate is usually closed because the animals are roaming. Come in and out as you wish just close the gate and latch it immediately once your in and out. The donkeys are like big sweet dogs. It’s always appreciated if you send us the time you expect to arrive and another message when you check-out of the Cabin at the end of your stay. Directions to the Site There are carts at the front ready for you to use to pack your stuff in. You will go around the left side of the big wood fence, past the pool, straight down until you are level with the garden. Take a right and you will pass the garden. This trail will curve left (hut will be on right). Follow it down into a big open area. You will continue straight down the trail. Keep going down and it will curve slightly and you will see a fork in the trail, on the right you will see the Creekside sign. Past the sign you will find the Cabin on the right. If it’s dark you will need a flashlight to make it down! Glamping We leave the Cabin unlocked but if you need the key the key box code on the porch is 1980. The lights for the cabin are solar powered and are dependent on the sun. We advise a back up light just in case the batteries are low. The light above the bed only works at night and the white remote is for this light. There is a small power station with more lighting to the left of the door. This green battery is also Solar and has a USB plug for the small fan or charging your phone. The sink is attached to a small water tank so please use the water sparingly to conserve. Please leave any dirty dishes in the sink. The outdoor shower is on the back side of the main house and is amazing. The outdoor compost toilet is meant for #2 and there is one behind the the animal pen and there is one in the big open area one level down from our garden (tucked in the middle of the evergreens). One scoop of mulch goes on after your business and if you can we prefer you pee outside. If the white swinging chair is in the way you can unhook it and place it under the bed. The bricks in the fire pit can be used as a stove top. Let your fire burn down and it will heat the bricks, you can move coals to the base as well. Once the bricks are hot you can heat water in the kettle or cook in the pot without the danger of flames that may burn the pot handle or blacken the kettle. The Land The trails are open, our property is fenced so you can’t wonder off. Please do Not cut down any trees. We often have other campers on the land, please respect their privacy and quiet time after 10pm. If you want to use the pool or hot tub please ask in advance. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Our little valley has a “no shooting covenant” and is safe but you may still hear shooting from other distant neighbors. If you go off trail you run a high risk of getting ticks and chiggers. Please do not let kiddos play in or around the sweat lodge (looks like an igloo with tarps). If you have more questions let me know!
