Village of Tantallon Campground Rules Site Use and Capacity • Camp only in designated camping areas. • Each site has limits for tents, RVs, people, and vehicles (maximum 8 people and 2 vehicles per site). • Check-in and check-out times must be respected. Fire Safety • Use only designated fire pits or rings. • Never leave a fire unattended. Extinguish it before leaving or going to sleep. • Follow all local fire bans and restrictions. • Do not bring firewood from outside the area, as this can spread pests. • No fireworks without written approval. Noise and Courtesy • Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. • No excessive noise during quiet hours, including noise from pets. Vehicles and Parking • Observe posted speed limits of 10 km/h. • Park only in designated parking areas. Cleanliness and Wildlife • Pack out or use designated bins for bagged garbage. • Do not leave food out it attracts wildlife. • Do not feed wildlife. • Leave your site as you found it. Environment and Pets • Do not cut down or damage trees or vegetation. • Respect water sources. • No digging trenches. • Pets must be contained or tied up, and owners must clean up after them. Village of Tantallon Campground Terms & Conditions 1. Reservations & Payments • All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged. • Guests must be 18 years of age or older to book a campsite. • Rates are based on one camping unit per site (tent, trailer, RV). Additional units may incur extra charges. 2. Check In & Check Out • Check in: 2:00 PM • Check out: 11:00 AM • Early check in or late check out may be available upon request and may include an additional fee. 3. Cancellation Policy • Cancellations made 3 days or more before arrival receive a full refund minus a small processing fee. • Cancellations made less than 3 days before arrival are non refundable. • No shows or early departures are non refundable. 4. Liability • Guests are responsible for their own safety and belongings. • The campground is not liable for accidents, injuries, theft, or damage to personal property. • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to campground property. 5. Weather & Emergencies • No refunds are issued due to weather conditions. 6. Prohibited Activities • Disorderly conduct, excessive noise, or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate removal without refund. 7. Acceptance of Terms • By completing a reservation or entering the campground, guests acknowledge and agree to abide by all Terms & Conditions listed above.
