In the heart of Friesland, the campsite Swichumer Pleats offers peace and quiet and plenty of space in the countryside. The spacious space with safari tents and a flat meadow area for caravans and campers is located in the Dutch village of Swichum and offers wonderful views over the vastness of the Frisian countryside. For children there is a playground for romping around. The area is also an ideal starting point for excursions and cycling tours on well-marked trails. Just 4 km away, the culturally rich city of Leeuwarden attracts visitors with its canal charms, decorative gable houses and the Keramiekmuseum Princessehof, which houses one of the most important porcelain collections in the Netherlands in a baroque palace.
