About this campground
Suwannee River Hideaway is one of the most beautiful nature-based RV parks you will have the pleasure of camping in. We have the natural beauty and wildlife that you would find and enjoy in a state park, but with more privacy, security, peace, and quiet. We are located in Old Town, Florida, just 3 miles south of 19/98, but far enough so you do not see or hear traffic. All you will hear at night are our resident owls that visit the campsites as you sit by your campfire.

We welcome you to bring your family and enjoy nature in old Florida style! We are centrally located to several natural springs: Fanning Springs 5 miles Otter Springs 9 miles Hart Springs 12 miles Manatee Springs 18 miles 15 minutes to Chiefland (Walmart, doctors, restaurants, chain stores) 30 minutes to the Gulf of Mexico 45 minutes to Gainesville Fill your days exploring the local springs, walking along the river and trails, visiting the Gulf of Mexico, or just lounging by our beautiful pool. After a day of exploring, you can then enjoy stargazing and a campfire followed by a peaceful night's sleep.
