Reply Paula says: Aug 27 2020 at 8:50 pm How is the river flow for kayaking? Can I put in and paddle upstream and return to my original put in spot or do I need to go with the flow and have a pick up vehicle down river? Reply Campsite Photos says: Aug 27 2020 at 10:38 pm Hi Paula, The river is flowing at about 3,300 cubic feet per second and should be good for kayaking. Not sure about paddling upstream though. You can click HERE for current river flow info. I recommend calling the park office to see what they think: 410-734-9035 Reply Megan says: Sep 9 2020 at 9:37 am I just received an email saying my campsite (62) is “Walk-In Only”. How far away do I have to park my car from my site? I thought all of them were drive up. Reply Campsite Photos says: Sep 9 2020 at 9:48 am Hi Megan, Campsite #62 has parking for two vehicles and up to 6 people can stay in the site (designated for tents). There is a short walk from your vehicles to the tent pad/table area . . . maybe about 50 feet. Reply Cindy says: Oct 15 2021 at 4:39 pm We plan to reserve a camp site to stay for the night. Can we just drive our car to the camp and sleep in the car? Reply Campsite Photos says: Oct 15 2021 at 7:05 pm Hi Cindy, Yes you can. Remember the park/campground closes October 31. You may also want to check availability (unless you already have a reservation) as the weekends are a bit busy. Reply lee Kass says: Sep 4 2023 at 8:02 am is there a cabin to rent Reply Campsite Photos says: Sep 4 2023 at 12:17 pm Hi Lee, Yes there are 6 ‘mini’ cabins you can rent at Susquehanna State Park.
