Busy during the weekend. Get there early to get a good spot. Great to go on hike or to lake after. Went a second time and took a 4x4 trail to get a more isolated spot
Overall, this campsite offers stunning views and great hiking opportunities, making it a popular choice for campers. However, it can get quite crowded on weekends, and the rocky terrain poses challenges for tent campers. While there are beautiful sunrises and sunsets to enjoy, amenities are limited, particularly for bathroom facilities. Access to nearby Roosevelt Lake is also restricted due to road closures, which may affect some campers' plans.
