About this campground
An established site overlooking the Pentland Firth with viewsof Stroma Island, Hoy and the Orkney Islands. The site is midwaybetween the ferry at John o'Groats and the roll-on-roll-off ferryat Gills Bay. Both of which have daily sailings to Orkney.This is an open site (no trees) and is about one acre in size.Half is grassed, half hard-standing - and it is reasonably flat.Hard-standing and electric hook-ups are provided for 8 motorhomesand caravans and enough room for 8 normal-sized tents.All facilities provided at this campsite are free of charge.The campsite is open all yearDirectionsFrom Wick follow the A99 north to John o'Groats, then turn leftonto the A386 Thurso road (opposite the Seaview Hotel);Stroma View Campsite is one mile on the left at Huna.
