The ruins of the 12th century Bolton Priory stand on a breath-taking curve of the River Wharf.Skipton is 8½ miles away from the Bolton Abbey Caravan Club Site (formerly Strid Wood) and is a thriving historic town with traditional cobbled streets and a picturesque canal to wander along.
