About this campground
This convenient low-cost camping area offers up to 48 hours of parking for self-contained motorhomes and caravans. Located just a short walk from the CBD, Doctors Beach foreshore, and the local Community Complex, it’s a great spot to base yourself while exploring the area. Facilities include clean toilet facilities (no showers) and a spacious camping area with some grassy, shaded spots. Please note there’s no access to water or power. No bookings are required—sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are suitable for RVs and motorhomes only. A fee of $15 per night applies, payable via an honesty box system (envelopes are available at the Information Bay). Permits must be displayed at all times. While it can get windy at times, this quiet and scenic site is well worth an overnight stay in this charming town.
