Storviksanden Camping – Idyllic camping by the fjord in Nordland Storviksanden Camping is beautifully located in Storvik in Gildeskål municipality, along the scenic County Road 17 in Nordland – approx. 97 km south of Bodø. With direct proximity to Storvik Bay and spectacular fjord scenery around it, this is one of the coast’s most attractive campsites for both Norwegian and foreign guests. Accommodation options for every taste The campsite offers 47 pitches for motorhomes and caravans, all with electricity and free high-speed WiFi. The surface varies from asphalt to artificial turf and natural grass, and there are separate large pitches for vehicles over 9 metres long.

Tent trips are easy to plan with 12 tent pitches on natural grass – four of these have car parking right next to the tent. For those who want a roof over their heads, there are two simple cabins with 3 beds and close access to the service building. Modern facilities – all included The service building is of a high standard with five showers, five toilets, two kitchen areas with dining areas, as well as a washing machine and dryer. Just across the road is a 24-hour grocery store – perfect for travelers. Free WiFi covers all pitches at the campsite. Activities and experiences Storviksanden Camping is a natural starting point for exploring Nordland’s best nature experiences. Via BUA, guests can borrow bicycles and paddleboards for free. The campsite also has mini golf, frisbee golf, sand volleyball and a large playground. In the vicinity, trips await you to Finnesfjellet with panoramic views, the artwork “The Forgotten City” from Skulpturlandskap Nordland, Ureddplassen with “the world’s most beautiful toilet”, and the majestic Svartisen glacier – about 1 hour away.
