About this campground
Overview Upper Crawton Park is a new site less than 5 minutes from Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire set in a 3 acre peaceful countryside spot. The site is within walking distance of Dunnottar Castle, RSPB Fowlsheugh Nature Reserve (Puffins!) and The Creel inn at Catterline. Sandy’s Byrnside Woodland Walk is also on our doorstep, 1km of trinkets, flowers, a treehouse and small bird watching hut. 5 Hardstanding pitches are available or suitable grass pitches if required. Pedestals installed with electricity and water can be found local to each pitch. Free Wifi is available to all guests.

Our Facebook page highlights all attractions in the area from Softplay centres, Outdoor midnight swim sessions to Boat Tours out of Stonehaven. We are situated in a location where Banchory, Montrose, Aberdeen, St. Cyrus are all very accessible. This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example. *Tents are not permitted on the majority of CS sites in Scotland 3 acres, level.
