New: V/E stationThe ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. The Sanctuary of St. Iddaburg can be reached in a beautiful hike through idyllic paths in about an hour. Likewise, many beautiful hikes in gentle hills are possible directly from the square. The well-known monastery of Fischingen can be reached in about an hour on foot. The surroundings of Gähwil are also excellent for bike tours or for relaxing. For further excursions, e.g. to the old town of Wil or to the cantonal capital of St.Gallen, there is a bus stop directly by the square.
