About this campground
Welcome to the Himmelreich – a very special place in the middle of the vineyards, perfect for relaxing and turning off. Here you can enjoy the peace of nature and escape from everyday life. Our parking space is located just outside the charming wine village of Mauchen, surrounded by a beautiful landscape. In the region there are numerous wineries to discover – of course you are also welcome with us at the Weingut Sommerhalter! A very special highlight of this pitch is the view to France and the beautiful sunsets. Thanks to the central location you reach Basel in just 30 minutes, Freiburg in about 35 minutes and France in a few minutes. Also a trip to the Black Forest is worthwhile at any time. For those who like to be active, hiking, walking and cycling through the vineyards or the Rhine Valley offer themselves – a real nature experience!
