About this campground
St. Joe State Park offers six picnic shelters ideal for family gatherings and special outings, located within one of Missouri's premier off-road vehicle parks. The park features three reservable shelters: Shelters 1 and 2 at Pim Day-Use Area, and Shelter 6 at Monsanto Lake. These reservable shelters cost $35 per day and operate 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. April through October, and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. November through March. If not reserved, they are available first-come, first-served at no charge. Three additional shelters (3, 4, and 5) at Pim Day-Use Area are always free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. All six shelters are ADA accessible and include picnic tables and large grills.
