About this campground
Byrd’s Branch Campground is located in the Foothills of Elkin, North Carolina. With 14 RV sites and 4 tent sites it offers a relaxing getaway the whole family can enjoy! The back-in sites are nestled up to a flowing creek that runs throughout the campground with large, shaded backyard areas, with your fire pits located along the creek, a favorite for the kids! The pull-thru sites are wide and spacious enough to accommodate all big rig sizes, with a nice open play area adjacent that offers corn hole and a community fire pit area perfect for social gatherings. The tent sites are located on the opposite side of the R.V. area with private, spacious sites.

All are well shaded and located along the creek. The playground in the tent area has something for all ages – tetherball, slide and swing set, and a playhouse for smaller children. You’ll want to try your luck with our new 9-hole disc golf course that has become a favorite by many and easily addictive! The Country Store/Office has camping supplies, ice, firewood, gifts, snacks and more with a clean, private bath house and laundry facility conveniently located behind the Country Store. With the Mountain-to-Sea Trail that runs through the campground you can spend the day hiking to beautiful Carter Falls or experience the Enchanted Forest that leads to Grassy Creek Winery you will not be disappointed.
