If you like the idea of lakes and mountains, 5 star campsite Sportcamp Woferlgut is a brilliant choice – it’s one of our favourite Eurocamp resorts! Set against the backdrop of the Austrian Alps, the site has loads on offer including a big games room, a gorgeous swimming lake with a tight-rope and balance beams, and loads to do locally. (Find out more in my Sportcamp Woferlgut Review.) Just down the road you’ll find the Maisi Flitzer Alpine Coaster (so fun!), water sports on Lake Zell and you can go up Kitzsteinhorn Mountain too. There’s even a really posh pool complex as well! The nearest airport to Sportcamp Woferlgut is Salzburg, 90 minutes away, or drive from Calais in 12 hours.
