About this campground
Overview This is a family run site, set in a quiet peaceful setting. The idyllic location within a six acre field attracts local wildlife, including muntjac deer, foxes, pheasants and barn owls. We are close to Cherry Orchard Country Park, which would appeal to ramblers, cyclist and families alike. We are close to a local bus service running every 15 minutes to the seaside town of Southend and historic Rayleigh. A local supermarket is a fifteen minute walk for all your grocery needs. Restaurants, public houses and take away shops are also fifteen minutes on foot.There is a fishing lake (at additional cost) which would appeal to carp anglers.

The site is secure with electric gates with keycode entry. We look forward to welcoming club members to our site. This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example. *Tents are not permitted on some CS sites in Scotland. 0.75 acre, gentle slope.
