Whether you are looking for a permanent base for your holidays or a short stop over on your tour, South Meadows offers a fantastic destination from which to explore the North Northumbrian coast and its attractions.We have a varied range of pitches which offer all of the facilities that you would expect from a quality camp site. We welcome families, including pets, and offer generous well landscaped pitches which allow plenty of space for your caravan or tent; including your car and awning.Our ethos is on providing a peaceful and enjoyable holiday experience. Our proximity to the local town and its amenities allows you to take advantage of the shops, restaurants and hostelries which are only a short walk away.We make the whole experience of arriving at site as stress free as possible. Although we do not pitch your tent, if you arrive with a caravan we will, whilst you are registering, site, position and level your caravan for you so all you have to do is enjoy the experience.Our location is blessed with its attractions, beaches and wealth of local history, but if all you want to do is chill out in a great campsite then we are able to offer plenty of space for children to play in safety as well as woodland walks and a children’s play area.DirectionsIf travelling from the north, we are 15 miles south of Berwick-upon -Tweed. Simply turn right off A1 onto B6349 and it is signposted to Belford.If travelling from the south, we are 15 miles north of Alnwick. When leaving Alnwich turn left off A1 onto B6349 which is signposted to Belford. After 500 yards, turn left and follow signs to South Meadows.
