Solar-Powered Family Farm Retreat

A private pond stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and catfish is available for catch-and-release fishing, complete with guest fishing poles and tackle boxes. Additional thoughtful amenities include an outdoor shower, water fill-up station, a hammock by the pond, and access to an outhouse—details that transform an overnight stop into a restful sanctuary. The 4.8-acre property is home to friendly Labrador dogs and a flock of chickens and guinea fowl kept in fenced areas, adding to the pastoral charm. Guests often enjoy campfires, peaceful mornings with coffee and conversation, and the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the grounds. The location's proximity to numerous wineries, breweries, safari adventures, and state parks makes it an ideal base for exploring regional attractions, while still providing the quiet, low-stress overnight experience many travelers seek on the road.
