About this campground
On the beautiful Isle of SkyeOur lovely Club Site on the Isle of Skye is right on the shore of Loch Greshornish. Locatedon a working croft, the site shares Skye’s stunning scenery with the area’s famous Highland cattle.Skye offers a variety of attractions, including Dunvegan Castle – the oldest continuouslyinhabited castle in Scotland. Visit the Museum of Island Life and Flora MacDonald’s grave on the spectacular Trotternish peninsula.You can also admire the sea eagles from MV Stardust, which sails from Portree harbour.

There are several other boats in the area, including the Misty Isle, which travels to the ‘best viewpoint in Scotland’.Back on land wildlife and photography enthusiasts will love Neist Point for itsdramatic scenery. Walkers can enjoy a stroll on the beach or a hike in the Cuillinmountains.Railway station: >Kyle of Lochalsh 48 miles.Bus stop: At site entrance to Portree and Dunvegan.Worth noting:Two Camping Pods available, with optional camp beds, contact site to book.Panoramic loch views with open aspect. Satellite dish essential for TV reception. Formaldehyde-free toilet fluid only. Skye Coach Tours can pick up from site.Eat Local: You can buy duck and hen eggs (laid on the croft) at the site shop, and a fresh fish van visits weekly. Skye’s oldest pub, the Stein Inn, serves fresh, local produce, as does the Edinbane Inn, The Old School House, The Skeabost Country House Hoteland The Three Chimneys restaurant.
