About this campground
Schwarzwald Camping Altensteig is a peaceful campsite located on the banks of the Nagold River. It's nestled in the gently sloping heights of the Black Forest, close to the centre of the rafting town of Altensteig. The campsite offers a variety of leisure activities. You can go hiking, cycling, swimming (there's a lake on site), fishing, play tennis or mini golf. There's also a children's playground and a large tent area with a barbecue spot for social gatherings. Despite its quiet location, it's within an hour's drive from the urban areas of Stuttgart, Böblingen, Sindelfingen, Tübingen, Reutlingen, Karlsruhe, Pforzheim and no more than five hours from the Ruhr area.
