About this campground
Welcome to Sandhåland Camping and Cabin Rentals We can offer a peaceful and idyllic place with an open panoramic view of the sea where you can both see and feel the forces of nature. There is no pollution here, only fresh sea air! About. 300m walk from the square there is a lovely sandy beach, where the water is clear and the sand is blindingly white. The sandy beaches on Vest-Karmøy are known for their rich flora found on the back of the dunes. Do you like hiking? We can offer walking on marked paths from extensive heathers and forest areas. This is a cultural landscape with long roots going back in time. A cycle tour is also arranged with cycle paths around the island.

Skudeneshavn is Westland's best-preserved small town 6 km. from U.S. The wooden buildings are from the 19th century, and the town has a charming environment with small white houses and narrow streets. Here you will find, among other things, galleries, cafes, a museum and a golf course. The boat festival is a highlight which is organized in the month of July. Haugesund is our nearest big city, 3 miles from us. Here you will find several shopping centres, and this is where the jazz and film festivals are organized in the month of August. Stavanger is Norway's oil capital and the country's fourth largest city and can be visited by car ferry or fast passenger boat. Welcome to Sandhåland Camping!
