Sailor's Rest

You can use it as a base for ATV adventure or hiking outings, or simply hang out quietly and soak up the atmosphere right there on site (or perhaps a bit of both…) The riverside setting of this place means that it’s got a truly chilled-out vibe and attracts lots of wildlife to look out for. It also means you’ll have somewhere handy to cool off after a day of activity. The river is shallow enough for paddling and gentle swims, and if you want to explore further you can sign up for tubing activities with nearby providers. The site has been set up to preserve the natural spirit of the surroundings, but with enough facilities and amenities to make sure you’ll be safe and comfortable. There are electric connections and lights all around the site, and you’ll have access to toilets, showers, wifi and a hot and cold water dispenser. Breakfast is available, and you’re welcome to bring along a barbecue to cook dinner on. There’s also a communal fireplace and an open-air cinema area that guests can use.
