About this campground
The campsite was started in the late 1960s and has grown larger over the years. The place is run today by Johnny Eklund and his two sons Kim Henrik and Ole Martin. The space currently has 135 spaces, mostly occupied by regular guests. Rubingen Camping is located on the coast midway between Moss and Fredrikstad, more precisely by the Krogstadfjorden in Saltnes. With its close connection to the sea, the place is well suited for camping, accommodation, swimming and other activities on the lake. Only a short walk away you will find Saltholmen, here the Coastal Path starts that passes Rubingen and continues along the Krogstad Fjord. Here at Rubingen, we are mainly engaged in the rental of permanent seasonal pitches. But it is entirely possible to rent places per day, get in touch if you request a free place.
