There are extensive vegetarian choices and a great variety of homemade desserts.The Pub has a very warm friendly atmosphere and caters for all our customers and we aim to make everyone feel welcome.This is an Elgoods House. A family run brewery based in Wisbech. It is one of the last independent breweries in Cambridgeshire.The Rose and Crown has it's own Camping and Caravan site - an ideal base to visit local attractions.In addition to the main lounge with traditional open fire, we have a games bar at the rear with a pool table and gaming machines and a recently added garden bar with a 42” flatscreen freeview and freesat tv, along with another pool table.If you like a game with your drink there's Pool, Dominoes, Darts and Cards inside, Boules (Petanque) outside and ample space in the adjoining grounds for a game of football or rounders.There's a large patio to the rear of the pub and a beer garden as well as a landscaped pond and an extensive car park.Camping and Caravans at the Rose and CrownThe Rose and Crown is ideally situated in Holbeach Hurn, a rural village location. This four and a half acre site has electric hook-up, showers, toilets and a landscaped pond.The Rose & Crown Pub & Restaurant is open all day, every day from 10.00am. Food and drink is always available and is served by very friendly and obliging staff. The full menu is only guaranteed between 12.00 pm and 2.00 pm and 6pm and 9pm.with a bar snack menu available at other times.Breakfast is available from 7am but should be booked the day before.There is pool, darts, dominoes and cribbage played inside. Outside there is Boules, a patio, beer garden and a large area to run about in.The area is great for rambling, cycling, fishing, shooting, bird watching and horse riding.There are many attractions round about,please check out the attractions page.The towns of Spalding, Boston, Wisbech and Kings Lynn provide many attractions, whilst within 4 miles Holbeach provides many pubs, banks, post offices, Tescos, Budgens and local shops.If using tom-tom or similar use the postcode PE12 8JT when told "you have arrived at your destination",proceed a further 50 to 75 yds and the pub is on your right,and the site entrance is a few yards further on your right.From the A17 at Fleet Hargate, turn at the signpost towards 'Hovendon House', 1/4 mile turn left, signposted Holbeach Hurn. Approximately 3/4 mile on right, through the village is the Rose & Crown Pub, a few yards further on and the site entrance is on your right.
