The adjoining marina with its bar & restaurant is only 2 minutes walk away in Hamble and also located there is the Hamble sailing centre. The park is ideally situated for reaching the many attractions in Hamble & the surrounding areas. Camping & Touring: For tourers and campers, Riverside Hamble provides free showers and toilet facilities. We have electric hook-ups, a launderette and enclosed wash-up area. The main touring area is level with some shady pitches; we have another area that is very slightly sloping. Our camping and touring is open to Tents, Motorhomes and Caravans and we do allow dogs (for which there is a nominal charge.) Our pitches are available from 1st March and we close on 31st October. AccomodationRiverside offers you a choice of self-catering accommodation. Our Pine Lodges sleep up to five persons and are fully equipped with all you need including microwave, mini hi-fi, TV, dishwasher, fridge & full-sized oven and hob. They are all heated and double-glazed ensuring your comfort at all times, as they are available all year including Christmas and New Year. All of our Caravan Holiday Homes are fully equipped for up to four or six persons. They all have shower and toilets (some also have hipbaths) with hot & cold water and have a fire in the lounge/dining area and some have additional heating in the bedrooms. The kitchens have everything you need including microwave, cooker, fridges with small freezer compartment. The Netley and Hamble Holiday Homes are available from February to October. The Wickhams, Swanwicks and Whiteleys have full central heating and double glazing. They are available to hire all year round including Christmas and New Year. All of our self-catering accommodation can be booked on a weekly or short break basis and includes all your bedding & bed linen, gas and electricity. Discounts and special deals are also given including senior citizen discounts, reductions for early booking, etc. Most of our Holiday Homes and Lodges have a view of the River or Marina. Cots and highchairs are available to hire. We regret that we do not allow pets in any of our self-catering accommodation. Swanwick Holiday Home 4 berth, 2 bedroom caravan holiday home The Swanwick has central heating and double glazing throughout, making this holiday home ideal for use all year round, including Christmas and New Year. It has a beautifully appointed kitchen with contemporary style fixtures and fittings, one double and one twin bedroom and main bathroom with shower cubicle. The spacious open-plan lounge/dining area with vaulted ceiling has a TV and midi hi-fi system for your pleasure. The Whiteley (Disabled Unit) 4 berth 2 bedroom caravan holiday home Designed to provide wheelchair users and others with special needs a top quality holiday home. Special emphasis is placed on providing ease and safety of access with wider exterior doors and wide sliding interior doors providing clear access into each room. Electrical sockets, switches and appliance controls are placed at heights appropriate to wheelchair users. The fitted kitchen includes lower level work surfaces and a recess beneath the sink unit for ease of accessibility. Quarter turn lever taps are fitted in the kitchen and shower room. The spacious shower and toilet area is especially well equipped. The extra large shower base is recessed into the floor to provide level access and a folding shower seat and toilet rail are fitted in addition to the essential fixed support and grab rails.
