River Getaway / Fishing Dock / Kayaks / Fast Wifi A beautiful spot perched under the trees on the banks of the Guadalupe River in Seguin, TX. One of 2 lovely tiny homes on the property. Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. 100' of riverfront with beach entry. FREE kayaks. Great fishing from the dock or banks. Reconnect w/ the great outdoors: fire pit, outdoor shower, hammocks. Sleeps 4. PLEASE NOTE: In March 2023, Meadow Lake (aka Lake Nolte) was lowered 12' for at least 2 years for dam repairs. Photos represent current water level; there is minimal fluctuation due to steady feed from Canyon Lake upstream. Water is shallow along our beach but 5 to 6 feet deep in other areas.

Ideal for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing. **In summer and fall, the water's edge at the beach often has a layer of algae plumes due to high temps and slower water flow.** HIGHLIGHTS - 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / 400 square feet - Sleeps 4 - 100' of riverfront with beach entry into water - Kayaks included FREE - Extensive outdoor space with propane grill, hammock, swinging chair, covered open-air dining / lounge area with big screen TV, fire pit, s'mores sticks, outdoor shower and half bath - Fast WiFi (~350 Mbps) - Smart TV - Stocked with books, games, toys, puzzles - Fully appointed kitchen w/ full size and countertop appliances - Keurig w/ coffee bar - Full size washer/dryer - Comfortable beds - Short drive to HEB, Walmart, Starbucks - Centrally located to New Braunfels, San Marcos, San Antonio, Austin SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS - Primary bedroom - 1 queen bed (locking door) - Bunk area - 2 twin bunk beds (no privacy door) PLEASE NOTE This is a tiny home, so the water heater is also tiny. This isn't the place for long indoor showers, and the tank needs time to refill between showers. But we do have an outdoor shower with a tankless water heater with a view of the water, which is second to none! This accommodation is one of 2 tiny homes on the property, so the outdoor areas and riverfront may be shared with up to 4 guests from the other tiny home. Your house is private (all to yourself) with your own attached front porch, as well as separate outdoor dining, grill, hammock chair, hammock, and paddles. The Shed, fire pit, outdoor area, and riverfront are shared with plenty of room to spread out. We live locally and are only a phone call away if you need anything. We also have local maintenance and housekeeping available for needs that may arise during your stay with us. We love this place because it's quiet, near the end of a dead end country road with cows and lots of stars. But it's still super convenient (5 minutes) to many things like Walmart and HEB. Right off I-10 and very centrally located to: - essentials like HEB, Walmart, Starbucks, restaurants, movie theater (2 weeks may require an additional cleaning fee. NO smoking. Smoking of any kind (including tobacco, marijuana, e-cigarettes, vape pens, and hookahs) is prohibited at this property, inside and out. NO pets. Although we are pet lovers, this is a shared property with other guests who may be sensitive (allergic, fearful) to pets. NO large parties or gatherings allowed. We have neighbors with full-time residence nearby who will report back with excessive noise or groups that exceed the home limit. Parking limited to 2 vehicles. My husband and I ran a business in Austin for over 10 years and couldn't leave for more than a long weekend. We are both water lovers, so we started getting away for long weekends in Seguin on this chain of lakes (Guadalupe River). We fell in love and decided to buy a place for ourselves. It has turned into multiple properties that I manage, which gives me the flexibility to spend more time with our growing family. Plus, we always have a place to stay since this has become our favorite place to vacation!
Reviews
Overall, this campsite receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from guests, highlighting its cleanliness, beautiful views, and the attentiveness of host Laura. Reviewers appreciate the well-stocked accommodations and the variety of outdoor activities available, making it an ideal spot for family getaways. While some guests noted the need for improved signage for nighttime navigation, the tranquil atmosphere and abundance of amenities more than compensate for this minor drawback.
