(RG19 8DB) Greenham - 41 Burys Bank Road

This is a free zone. Height limit of 2m therefore suitable for a van. The area is level, has enough room for approximately 4 vans. Suggest arriving late and leaving early. Leaves no trace. There are other areas around this location but it is off piste and very quiet. Walking distance to Greenham Common, and you're next to the wildlife reserve. Not suitable for open fires. I was able to let the dog out because it was far from the road. Keeps busy during the day with the walkers. A police car came down and spun around while I was making a brew. I guess they spilled my plate and then left. If, like me, you are self-sufficient and looking for a peaceful night's sleep away from cars, boy shopping, drug deals, etc., this is helpful. There are trash cans. Respect the area and it shouldn't be a problem. I also stayed here to see the wildlife which is abundant.
