If sitting on the front porch in a rocking chair, watching the sunset is more your speed, this will be your haven. You may also decide to enjoy the outdoor entertaining area complete with a hot tub, gas grill, tables and chairs. Additionally, picnic tables are located near the fire pit where you can reminisce, tell stories & of course make s’mores (sticks provided). You will have the entire cottage, 6 acres and no neighbors! We’re are just a message away when needed. We truly appreciate the peace & lack of neighbors at the cottage. We are fortunate to have Lakeside Store located only a few miles away. They have just about everything! We are also just 5 miles to the best ice cream voted in all of Ohio at Deersville General Store, and a short drive to Amish Country & other nearby lakes: Piedmont, Clendening, Leesville & Atwood4WD or AWD would be desirable for winter stays. There is no public transportation in the area. -Well-behaved, medium-sized pets are welcome at the cottage for an extra $25/fee per pet, per night. Maximum of 2 pets. -The Smart TV does run on the WIFI. It's the best internet for the area however it is slow. We take this opportunity to 'Get Away' from technology :) -The water supply at the cottage is from a private well. The area is known for a slow water supply. We encourage guests to space out showers & washing laundry to avoid any outages. Water would be unusable in the event of a power outage.
