About this campground
Located in the middle of Germany and close to the baroque town of Fulda and to the Wasserkuppe (950 m), our pitches offer the basis for a quiet overnight stay in the vicinity of the A 7 (about 15 minutes) or as a starting point for diverse exploration tours in the Rhön. Especially for families with children, the proximity to the "Rhön-Indian-Hotel" with its varied leisure and play possibilities is ideal. And who likes can even stay in a real Indian tent. "Wild-West Romantik" guaranteed. The village of Poppenhausen which is located at the foot of the Wasserkuppe (mountain of the gliders) can be reached in 5 minutes from the Bio-Hof Gensler.

As an organic farm offer our guests in our own farm shop or in our beer garden a large selection of regional food and goods. Every Thursday and Saturday there are e.g. our popular wood oven bread and fresh breads from our own wood oven. Short-term registrations are also possible (unless booked out) at short notice.
