About this campground
Welcome to Basteviksholmarna! A unique place on the west coast of Sweden. A place to really relax and enjoy nature. We are pleased that you have found the way to us. You are located in the heart of Bohuslän – with sea and rocky coasts as far as the eye can see. To the west you see the Hållö lighthouse, which is located just outside Smögen. With a little patience you can usually observe curious seals, which put their heads into the sea. At the moment you can almost say that you are actually walking on the water. Because Basteviksholmarna consists of two islands by nature (the mountains you see in the harbour). In the seventies the area was filled up between the islands and the road built here.

The rock masses come from the rock caverns, which for the oil refinery are blown out a bit further in the Brofjord. The area was several decades unused, but since 2006 there is a marina. In the port there are about 430 berths, and a restaurant for a restroom. There are also a restaurant for the white boat.
