About this campground
The Caravaningplatz / Motorhomeplatz in Leipzig Southwest is a large idyllic open space (t. T. fortified meadow – sunny or shady) in the middle of beautiful nature at the forest edge at the former Elsterstausee not far from the amusement park Belantis and the Cospudener See. It is located directly next to the White Elster. Unfortunately no supply and disposal is possible, because this is in the middle of the forest. Thus only for self-sufficient users. At the WE the toilet uses are possible in the neighboring snack bar. Within walking distance you reach the end point of the tram line 3, which brings you to the city center with its numerous cultural, shopping and adventure catering offers.

Perfect starting point for exploring the south area with hikes and bicycle tours or for bathing in the neighboring Cospudener See with its crystal clear water. Water hikers set next door to the Elster or after 200 m walk into the Cospuderner See, over which you can drive to the city center by boat. To the Belantis amusement park it is a 15-minute walk. By bicycle it is only 10 km to the city center.
