About this campground
The RV park is located directly on the historic city wall and at the Grey Tower. The Grey Tower is one of the highest still preserved city defence towers in Germany. In clear weather, you can enjoy a great view of the city and its surroundings from the top of the tower. It is only a few minutes' walk to the old town centre and the historic market square. The Fritzlar Market Square is considered one of the most beautiful in Hesse with its beautiful half-timbered ensemble and the Rolandsbrunnen. Also not far away stands the St. Petri Cathedral, an impressive example of Romanesque-Gothic architecture. Inside, in a successful composition, the various architectural styles of the centuries unite.
