About this campground
Motorhome holidaymakers will find a parking space at the tranquil Franzrasen on a Werra Island in the heart of the Badestadt and in the immediate vicinity of the historic old town. Here campers can stop at any time of the year without reservation with their mobile home and discover the fairytale half-timbered town with its attractive nature. Only for the Thanksgiving and Homeland Festival on the 3rd weekend in August the marquee is built on the Franzrasen. Alternative places for the campers are available on the opposite "Allerasen" . The place on the Franzrasen under the shadowing old trees is suitable for more than 100 campers. The terrain is flat, partly asphalted or gravelled.
