In the middle of the countryside and yet very close to the heart of the city: our camper park is idyllically located on the Great Pond and is the ideal starting point for an eventful time in Altenburg. Right outside the door, the extensive park invites you to be active and relax – with rowing boats on the pond, the charming island zoo, the city forest for extended walks, a playground with table tennis and last but not least: the swimming hall and the outdoor pool for water fun in any weather. Only a short walk leads to the historic old town – with residence castle, museums, the magnificent main market and romantic alleys. Also culinary is provided for everything: restaurants and cafes are easily reachable on foot. The place offers space for 13 campers (no trailers). A reservation is not possible in advance – who comes is rewarded with a parking space in the best location.
