People were camping on the land where Red Squirrel Campsite is now, since last century.Hugh McColl found a horseshoe embedded in a tree he cut in 1970. It looked like one used by Gypsies.Since 1914 there is a written record of prices collected for camping .The name Red Squirrel was founded in 1984 when the Glen was inhabited by Red Squirrel, which now can be hardly seen.And...we are open all ye...
