Rancho San José de Jésus

This place is called Rancho San José de Jésus on Google maps. It's a place where you can rent cabanas or pitch your tent. We (2 cyclers) asked to pitch our tent. They told us they had some issues because of the rain so everything was out of service but eventually they let us pitch our tent for free because we didn't need a lot. The lady is very nice and welcoming. She asked us if we needed anything. We only asked for water. It’s quite a way up the mountain. It took a good 20 minutes. You may feel like there is no way it’s that far up there. It is. The charged 200 pesos for a truck site. There are no amenities. They were pleasant and spoke a bit of English and we spent a solid 45 seconds with them. We were the only ones here. It’s quiet although we did see a bunch of chickens so we maybe waking up at 5 with the rooster. Also, it took us a bit to find a nice flat area.
