About this campground
Selected as this is delightful Castels site is a 2km walk into Quimper and is set in the wooded grounds of a 15th century château almost entirely rebuilt by an Englishman in 1825. The magnificent classical 17th century style gardens which stretch down to the banks of river Odet are unique and well worth a visit. The pitches are set amongst pretty shrubs and flowers giving the site a very verdant spacious feel. It is full of beautiful trees, some over 100 years old which attract as many as 80 different birds.

Attractive stone farm buildings at the entrance to the campsite have been converted to house all the services including the reception, bar and restaurant which overlook the attractive new aqua complex. These services are a 10-min walk from the pitches. The site has its own 9 hole golf course, with practice range, two putting greens and practice bunker. Situated just off a main road but in a quiet secluded atmosphere, on the outskirts of Quimper and a 20-minute drive to the beaches at Bénodet. Caravan rallies are very welcome. *Clef Verte*
