About this campground
Freedom Camping at this site is only permitted if: · In self-contained vehicles displaying NZS5465:2001 certification. · Maximum stay is three consecutive nights. This car park is primarily designed for access to the Pump Track, please be considerate of other users. No tents, no fires, no alcohol. Dispose of your waste responsibly. It is your responsibility to ensure you are freedom camping legally. The area is actively monitored and infringement notices of $200 will be issued for any breaches of the Freedom Camping Act 2011 or the Napier City Freed Camping Bylaw. No person may freedom camp for more than 10 nights in any calendar month on any land controlled or managed by the Napier City Council in the Napier City local authority area.
