About this campground
Gold 5 star park nestled in the borders where Herefordshire meets Wales. David Bellamy has given our park a Gold award for the 11th year running for our environmentally green work around the park. Walks for dogs and humans are available on the park as well as starting at the park. The Mill restaurant and The Shop adjoining the park provide day to day facilities along with our heated toilets, showers and wash areas.

Muddy dogs have their own wash and dry area.For friends that don't have a caravan or tent but would like to holiday near you, we can offer Self catering static caravans on the park or a cottage and bungalow adjoining the park grounds.DirectionsDirections from M5 At M5 Junction 8 turn onto the M50 (21.9 miles)At the end of the M50, Junction 4 (Ross on Wye) turn onto the A49 (0.9 miles)Straight over roundabout for the A40 / then turn right at the roundabout (1.2 miles)Onto the A49 (Go through Harewood end and then: (5.5 miles)Onto the B4348 sign posted Hay on Wye (13.3 miles)continue along this road until you reach Poston Mill Park on your left hand side (1 mile before Peterchurch) Directions from South and WalesFrom Newport M4 Join the A4042 for Abergavenny Junction 25a (18.9 miles)On the outskirts of Abergavenny /approx 18 miles/ take the 2nd exit of the roundabout for Monmouth A40 /Hereford A465. Continue for (17.9 miles)DO NOT take the road for Peterchurch in Pontrilas (this is not a suitable road for touring vehicles). Continue along the A465 to the Shell Garage at Allensmore/ Locks Garage/ which is on a staggered crossroads.Turn left on to the B4348 sign posted to Hay on Wye and continue until you reach Poston Mill Park. (on your left hand side). (6.2miles) Directions from Leominster/The North A49Follow the signs for A49 Ross on Wye, Abergavenny through Hereford and across the river bridge. At the roundabout on the end of the bridge (by Asda supermarket) follow the signs for Abergavenny A465. (11.9 miles)Stay on this road (the first two roads signposted Hay are unsuitable for touring vehicles) to the shell garage at Allensmore (Locks Garage) on a staggered junction. (6.2 miles)Turn Right the far side of the garage B4348 sign posted Hay on Wye and continue until you reach Poston Mill park on your left hand side. Directions from the West Brecon A40/Hay on Wye A438Brecon A40 follow signs for Hay on Wye A470 which becomes the A438 at Bronllys. (28.9 miles)Continue following signs for Hay onto B4350 at Glasbury. (10.3miles)Turn right at 'The Blue Boar' and follow the Bredwardine/Hardwicke road out of the town. B4348Approx 3 miles turn right for Dorstone, Peterchurch, Ross. (6.4 miles)Take extra care around the corners of Dorstone church the road is very narrow and tight bends.Pass through the village of Peterchurch and after about 1 mile Poston Mill Park will appear on your right hand side.
