About this campground
Porthcothan Clifftop Camping is a basic campsite located on a working farm. It offers minimal facilities including water taps and a composting toilet. There are no options for wastewater or chemical toilet disposal, and no showers. However, the campsite offers a beautiful view of the sea. The campsite is simple and not commercialised. Porthcothan Bay is accessible via a footpath about a mile away. The town of Padstow is a 15-minute drive from the site. The campsite is conveniently located next to the coastal path, with sandy beaches within walking distance in either direction. For those arriving with a campervan or small motorhome, there is a small sign on the road leading to a field track.
