For washing up and laundry there is both a heated indoor area and a large outdoor Belfast sink with plenty of room for getting the sand out of your beach towels all supplied with plenty of free solar hot water. Prices include gas/electric, bed linen and a starter pack for the BBQ. You only need bring your own towels...The Retreat accommodates up to six people with one double bedroom, a twin single bedroom and further double berth in the lounge/ dining area. There is a separate bathroom with shower and a well equipped kitchen for your convenience with plenty of space outside to put up a tent in the safety of the private garden if the young ones want to try camping out under the stars.And although the Retreat is popular with families we also find that it is favored by couples of all ages looking for the peace of the countryside away from the maddening crowds. We do not operate a minimum booking policy so single visitors are welcome too.Polglaze is a member of CoaST sustainable tourism and so The Retreat is provided with full recycling and clean composting facilities, ensuring that the very minimum actually goes to waste. Booking early for the Retreat is essential if you wish to secure a date that you are particular interested in. A £75 booking deposit* secures this date and is also your indemnity payment against minor losses and cleaning. *This is refunded to you by post after satisfactory cleaning inspection of the Caravan after the holiday. Follow the B3269 and the signs for Fowey for around 7 miles and you will find Polglaze Farm is sign posted on the left approximately 1 mile from Fowey.From the Four-Turnings (Texaco Garage) mini-roundabout on the outskirts of Fowey, take the B3269 towards Lostwithiel and you will find Polglaze Farm is signed about quarter of the mile on the right side.Sea: The River boasts good facilities for visiting sea farers.
