About this campground
Namsos Camping is located at the outlet of Namsen, about a 5-minute drive from the center of Namsos. The campsite is located in scenic surroundings and the cabins are located close to the site's own beach. A lovely outdoor area borders the campsite, and an evening walk in these surroundings is the best guarantee for a good night's sleep. Namsos Camping has 31 cabins. The 10 largest are modern log cabins with electric Iys and heating, shower and WC. The living rooms have a lounge, and the kitchenette is equipped with a stove, fridge and everything needed for a longer stay. In these cabins there are 6 or 7 beds. Duvets and pillows for the same number can be found in the cabins.

If necessary, more beds can be arranged. In connection with the remaining 21 cabins, we have built a sanitary facility. With this, we have made the simpler cabins a good alternative. Bring your own bed linen and feel at home with us. Namsos Camping sells fishing licenses in Namsen, one of Norway's best salmon rivers. A shoreline of 4 km. is at the disposal of the campsite's guests. In the Namsenfjord, there are plenty of opportunities for sea fishing from a boat and from land. Only Otterøya, or perhaps an hour's drive by car, separates us from the great ocean, Folla. It is just as fascinating and captivating in a storm as in calm. As mentioned, the trip into the city only takes five minutes. The town itself is well worth a visit. It has traditions as a business and service centre, and trade is lively along the wide streets. In addition, it can offer some very special experiences. Plan your city tour around the Oasen swimming and leisure centre. There is no match. This is one of the largest facilities in fiell in all of Europe. There is a 50-metre pool, warming pool, jacuzzi, several diving towers, exercise room and cafeteria to name a few of the offers. We would also recommend a visit to the city's cultural center. The county gallery's exhibitions are absolutely worth the trip, and in the concert hall there is also always something going on. Check the concert list - it can pay off.
