Nestled in the pine forest of Les Mathes, the PALMYRE LOISIRS campsite offers a wide range of activities for the whole family. The beach at La Palmyre, just 2.5 km away, is perfect for relaxation. Tourist highlights in the Charente-Maritime region include La Rochelle, Île de Ré, Île d'Oléron, and Royan.

On-site services include: Kids' Club (ages 5-12), Teen Club (ages 13 and up), Aquapark (completely renovated in 2015) with a heated indoor pool, heated outdoor pool, Aqua Fun Zone, water slides, Balneotherapy, a lazy river, a multi-sports court, table tennis, aquagym, strength training, step aerobics, sports tournaments, a circus school (July and August only), dance evenings, shows, cabaret, concerts, and games. Open 7 days a week from July 6th to August 23rd; open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only from April 15th to July 6th and from August 24th to September 10th. Also available: pétanque, children's playground, laundry facilities, charcoal grills not permitted, electric grill available, grocery store, bar-restaurant. Leisure activities for a fee: tennis in July and August, mini-golf, gas grill. Services nearby: mini-golf, 18-hole golf course in Royan, quad biking in the forest, amusement park, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, sailing, fishing (in the Seudre), the Seudre River and its nature reserves, Île d'Oléron, Île d'Ré, Île d'Aix, the port of Boyard, the Palmyre Zoo, La Rochelle, Royan, and Rochefort.
