Pleasant Valley Campground sits at 3,070 feet elevation in the Fisher River Area of Kootenai National Forest, approximately 32 miles southwest of Libby along Highway 2. This small, primitive campground offers a quiet escape with 7 standard campsites and 2 specialized stock campsites, making it an excellent choice for equestrian camping. Each standard site includes a picnic table and fire ring, while the stock sites feature feed bins and corrals for horses. The campground accommodates RVs up to 32 feet in length, with gravel or native material roads and parking spurs throughout. Amenities are basic, consisting of vault toilets only.

Campers must bring their own water and pack out all trash, as there is no potable water or waste collection on-site. The campground operates on a pack-in, pack-out basis with no fees. Open year-round and managed from Memorial Day through Labor Day, access during winter months depends on weather and road conditions. The campground sees light use and operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. A 16-day stay limit applies, pets must be leashed, and fireworks are prohibited on National Forest lands.
