Pitch in the game reserve on the Rhine

In our small farm shop, you can stock up on our nationally renowned handmade jams and fruit liqueurs. Fresh eggs are available from the nearby farm. Anyone interested can help us with haymaking or other tasks for a few hours. As a reward, you'll receive a hearty snack afterwards. A vast hiking area extends directly from our "Garden of Eden." The popular "Rheinsteig" hiking trail, with magnificent views of the Rhine Valley, passes directly below our game reserve. In the immediate vicinity and easily accessible on foot are two popular restaurants, the “Edmundhütte” and the “Brombeerschenke”, both with breathtaking views of the Rhine Valley and the Eifel. The idyllic wine-growing village of Leutesdorf in the valley is also within walking distance. Here, you can replenish your wine supplies and stop off at one of the wine taverns. Leutesdorf is known for its popular wine events, such as the "Emmausgang" (Emm Walk) on Easter Monday, the "Wine Experience" in the vineyards on Mother's Day, the wine picnic 🍷 "Tafeln am Strom" (Feasting by the River) in August, and the "Winzerfest" (Wine Festival) in September. Other tourist attractions include the world's largest cold-water geyser opposite Leutesdorf on the other side of the Rhine and the "Roman World" in Rheinbrohl, where the Roman Limes once began. Also well-known and popular is the "Kristall-Rheinbad-Therme" brine thermal bath in Bad Hönningen, where you can indulge in all-round pampering. As you can see, things don’t get boring here so quickly! Your pitch is fenced and secluded. For a fee, you can also use electricity ⚡️ for charging batteries (no permanent connection) and fresh water (by canister). Your toilet should be on board. There are nearby waste disposal stations in Leutesdorf, Bad Hönningen, Neuwied, and Andernach. Since 2023, the municipality has been charging a tourist tax of €1.50 per day per guest, which I must forward to the responsible authority. The tourist tax is paid locally. Please call us well in advance of your arrival to let us know when you'll be arriving. The pitch isn't easy to find, even with coordinates and an address, and we'd love to be there to show you this beautiful spot in person! For spontaneous bookings, arrival must be by 6:00 PM!
