About this campground
NEW OWNERS, JAN 2023! Our Eco-Glamping on the Costa de Luz in Andalusia, Spain, houses four beautiful Mongolian Yurts, although as we built them here on the Costa Gaditana maybe we should call them Gaditano Yurts . There is a total of four yurts on our 7000 sq meter property so there’s plenty of space to relax or socialise as much as you want. Over winter 22/23 we took down and rebuilt each yurt, gave them a facelift and now they’re ready to be enjoyed. Each yurt can fit up to 4 people with a queen size bed and either a sofa bed or single beds available depending on how many you are.

Each yurt has it’s own private area with hammock and seating so you can enjoy a siesta surrounded by birdsong or an evening drink as the sunsets through the trees. All yurts include soap and organic dish soap, bottled water, a crib (if requested), maps of the area and brochures with cultural and tourist information, and bicycle rentals available (book prior to arrival). Guests will have use of all community areas, which includes parking, the kitchen, the bathrooms, the barbecue, the garden, and the rest areas. Guests can cook all of their meals in the community kitchen, and there are communal bathrooms with washing machines, hot water, and showers surrounded by acebuches. On-site, glampers will find gardens around the yurts, as well as parking for cars and bicycles; a large community kitchen; a barbecue; a communal porch with sofas; shared lounge areas for resting and relaxing; and two community bathrooms with washing machines, hot water, and showers surrounded by acebuches, The porch with multiple sofas is often used for having a cocktail, enjoying the sunset, playing a board game, and more. In addition, this glamping site is highly eco-friendly. The property's accommodations and facilities were built with natural materials and minimal impact techniques. The energy that powers everything at this property comes from a solar photo-voltaic system, waster water is treated with ecological septic tanks and natural filters, organic waste is recycled in the property's garden and fields, only green cleaning products are used, and bicycles are available for rental, subject to booking prior to their arrival, to use to explore the area without having to use the car.

Reviews
Overall, the campsite offers a unique and peaceful experience with beautiful yurts and friendly hosts, making it a popular choice among families and nature lovers. Many guests praised the comfortable accommodations and the delightful outdoor kitchen, as well as the delicious homemade breakfasts. However, some reviews highlighted cleanliness issues and a neglected garden area, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, some guests felt the pricing was high given the maintenance concerns, leading to a balanced sentiment about the value for money.
