What with the swimming pool, snacks or drinks on hand and evening entertainment in high season, there’s no real reason to ever leave this leafy hideaway, but it’s good to know that the beaches of the Ligurian Riviera are only 10 minutes’ drive away. Alternatively, turn inland and head for the hiking and cycling trails of Monte Beigua Natural Regional Park (20 minutes).
