About this campground
A brighter sky and a long sandy beach, a gentle summer breeze and a soothing pine canopy. Brightly watered Pyhäjärvi opens on both sides of the Papinniemi. In the restaurant you can enjoy local raw food, cold drink or ice cream. You can move in the water with a motorboat, rowing boat, canoe or SUP board and drive forest trails on the fatbike. There are many accommodation options, from cottages to the camping area. The Papinniemi tourist area offers pleasant experiences in the area of the Parikkala municipality Uukuniemi, near the eastern border. Several cottages are available on their own saunas, saunas and in the area of the caravans. There is a nice playground for children.
