About this campground
Facilities Papillon Country Resort This campsite has a swimming pool with a removable roof. If the weather is nice and the sun is shining, the roof is open. Is it a rainy day? Then of course the roof is closed. So you can spend time in the pool in both bad and good weather. There is a children's slide, a separate paddling pool and a water spray park outside. You can also play table tennis, tennis, fish in the fishpond and for the more athletic there is an outdoor fitness trail. Near the swimming pond is a large climbing tower with slides that lead into the swimming pond. Near the pond there is a cableway, sunbathing area and sports field, and for the little adventurers there is a gnome trail in the woods. An animation team is present in high season. Restaurant Papillon Country Resort If you don't feel like cooking in the evening, you can enjoy a meal in the campsite's new restaurant. This restaurant also has a special menu for children. There are cosy seating areas where you can relax or enjoy a drink. For shopping, visit the campsite shop, which also sells fresh bread. If you prefer to go to a large supermarket or weekly market, you can choose between Denekamp (five minutes' drive) and Nordhorn (10 minutes' drive). Surroundings Papillon Country Resort Papillon Country Resort is close to the German border, excellent for various trips both in the Netherlands and in Germany. The campsite is surrounded by nature, so it's ideal for a lovely piece of cycling or walking. You can also walk to Germany or discover a piece of history and visit Slot Bad Bentheim. Nordhorn Zoo is also nearby, great fun for the kids!
